Terms and Conditions
Last Updated: September 7, 2026
1. Overview
ConnectCapture is a software-as-a-service product for churches and ministry teams. It helps authorized users capture handwritten connect cards, extract contact information through OCR, review the extracted information, store card data and images, and use the information for follow-up.
These Terms and Conditions describe the general rules for accessing and using ConnectCapture and apply to the church, organization, or person that creates or uses an account.
2. Accounts and Authorized Users
You are responsible for keeping account credentials secure and for deciding which church staff members, volunteers, or other team members may access ConnectCapture.
You should only invite authorized church staff or team members who are permitted to view, review, share, or handle the connect card information captured for your church.
3. Church Data and Card Images
Your church may upload or capture images of handwritten connect cards and related information, including names, phone numbers, email addresses, mailing addresses, notes, and other information voluntarily written on a card.
You are responsible for having the rights, permissions, notices, and internal practices needed to collect, upload, review, store, share, and follow up using that information.
4. OCR and Review
ConnectCapture may use OCR processing and related systems to support contact information extraction from uploaded connect card images.
OCR output may be incomplete or inaccurate. Your team is responsible for reviewing captured information before using it for follow-up, export, or integration with another system.
5. Planning Center and Other Integrations
If your church enables Planning Center integrations or another third-party service, you authorize ConnectCapture to send approved contact information to that service at your direction.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. Your church is responsible for its use of those services and for confirming information before sending it.
6. Appropriate Use
You may not use ConnectCapture to upload unlawful content, violate privacy rights, send unauthorized communications, interfere with the service, or access data you are not permitted to access.
You should use ConnectCapture only for legitimate church follow-up, ministry administration, and related internal workflows.
7. Billing and Subscriptions
ConnectCapture offers monthly plans for a shared church workspace. Each plan includes the same product features; the plan choice reflects church attendance. The price, currency, duration, and applicable taxes shown at purchase govern your subscription.
Subscriptions purchased in the iOS app are billed to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase and renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. A remaining ConnectCapture account trial does not postpone your first App Store charge. Manage or cancel renewal in Apple subscription settings. Cancellation normally preserves access until the paid period expires; a refund or revocation may end access earlier.
Apple handles App Store payment and refund requests. Refund eligibility and decisions follow Apple's applicable terms. You can restore a purchase from the iOS Subscription screen while signed in as an owner of the original church workspace and using the Apple Account that made the purchase. App Store Family Sharing is not enabled; authorized church teammates use the church's shared ConnectCapture account access.
Web subscriptions continue to be billed through Stripe and managed from the web billing settings. A church's existing subscription can provide access on both iOS and the web. Do not start a second subscription for the same workspace; use the provider that manages your current plan.
8. Account and Workspace Deletion
You can request permanent account deletion in iOS Settings → Delete account. Your access ends when the request is accepted; cleanup normally completes within 48 hours, with a completion email. Provider failures may require additional time and retries.
Church-owned cards remain with the team when an individual leaves, with that person's uploader attribution removed. An owner transfers the workspace to an active teammate before deleting their own account, or explicitly deletes the workspace when they are its only active member. Deleting the workspace removes its stored cards and connection to Planning Center and cancels its web subscription. Copies already exported or synced elsewhere remain in those destinations.
Deleting your ConnectCapture account or workspace does not cancel an App Store subscription. Cancel Apple renewal separately to prevent future charges. You can request deletion even while an Apple subscription has time remaining.
9. Service Changes and Availability
ConnectCapture may change, suspend, or discontinue features over time. The service may also be unavailable because of maintenance, outages, security issues, or third-party provider interruptions.
No service-level agreement applies unless it is included in a separate written agreement with ConnectCapture.
10. App License and Service Limitations
The iOS application uses Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These service terms describe the ConnectCapture account and church workspace used with the app.
ConnectCapture does not promise uninterrupted service or perfect OCR accuracy. Your team should review extracted details before relying on them. These terms do not remove rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
